WhatsApp Governance Platform: Many times we have to visit government offices for even small government work and have to wait for hours. But now you are going to get a big relief soon.

You will not have to visit government offices to make important documents like marriage certificate, driving license or caste certificate.

The Delhi government is soon going to launch a new platform called WhatsApp Governance. Through this, you will be able to avail these services on WhatsApp from your phone. You will be able to apply from home, get your documents verified and also download your certificate.

You won’t have to stand in a long line

A senior official said that this WhatsApp Governance ServicePeople of Delhi will be able to avail the services of many government departments through their WhatsApp account. For this, neither you will have to download any separate app nor go to the government office. This will make the use of services easy, transparent and fast. Earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party government had started the doorstep delivery scheme, in which more than 30 services were available at home. But this scheme has been closed for the last one year and now there is talk of ending it completely.

For the last one year, people are facing the problem of long queues and middlemen to get certificates. To make this easier, the government is now starting WhatsApp Governance. Modern technology and Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI will be used in this. Initially, 25-30 services will be available on this platform, such as marriage certificate, driving license and caste certificate. More services will be added later.

You will be able to download the necessary documents

For this, the government will create a special mobile number. You just have to write Hi on that number on WhatsApp and send it. After this, you will be able to go to different departments and apply for the service you need and fill the form. After checking the documents, you will be able to download your certificate through QR code on WhatsApp itself. On this platform, aAI ChatbotThere will also be a chatbot which will work in Hindi and English. This chatbot will help you to use the services easily and will give information about government schemes through text, photos or videos.

Services will be available 24 hours

This is a part of the Delhi government’s digital transformation strategy, which will make government services available 24 hours a day. Initially, this will start with some specific departments and later all departments will be connected. This service will also be connected with Delhi’s e-district portal. The government can complete this project in collaboration with Meta Company. For those who do not know how to use WhatsApp or who do not have a smartphone and internet, the government will open Common Service Centers in all districts. These services will be available there at a nominal fee of Rs 50.
