Lok Adalat: Where and when?
In Delhi, this Lok Adalat will be held not only in Delhi High Court but also in all the district courts, debt recovery tribunals and consumer forums. Complete registration process:
Firstly, visit the website of NALSA (National Legal Services Authority).
There select the option of “Lok Adalat Registration”.
Fill the form and upload all your required documents.
After submitting the form, you will be sent a token number and an appointment letter on email or mobile.
The appointment letter will contain complete details of the date, time and place of the hearing.

On which challans will relief be given?
Lok Adalat will provide relief for certain types of traffic violations. These include driving without a seat belt or helmet, jumping red lights, overspeeding, driving without a valid PUC certificate, no-parking, and driving without a driving license. However, some serious cases will not be heard in Lok Adalat, such as:
- Drink driving
- Hit and run case
- Death due to negligence
