The Arvind Kejriwal-led government has increased the exemption in the Corona restrictions imposed in the capital Delhi. Malls and markets in Delhi will now open till 10 pm. This information has been given by the AAP government on Saturday itself. This decision has been taken keeping in view the upcoming festive season.

Business organizations in Delhi recently urged the AAP government to allow opening of markets ahead of the festive season. The Delhi BJP also held a protest near Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Friday and demanded that weekly markets be allowed to reopen. In April this year, after the second wave of Kovid came and the cases of infection increased, many restrictions were implemented. Which are being gradually removed in the last few days. More than 14 lakh cases of corona have been found in the capital Delhi, out of which now there are only 500 active cases.

Corona situation in the country

On Saturday, the Union Health Ministry has said that 38,628 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, while 617 corona infected have died during this period. There are now 4,12,153 active patients in the country, which is 1.29 percent of the total cases. So far, a total of 4.27 lakh deaths have occurred due to corona in the country.

At present, Kerala has the highest number of corona cases in the country. There are too many restrictions there. Apart from Kerala, restrictions have also been imposed in Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa and Puducherry. Apart from this, mild restrictions have been imposed in many states and union territories of the country. However, now strict restrictions are in very few places. Weekend lockdown is in most places.
