This Diwali, Elite Marque, a Delhi-based public relations (PR) agency, has taken a step that is receiving widespread praise. The company has announced a nine-day holiday for its employees, allowing them to celebrate the festival with their families without any work pressure.
The company’s founder and CEO, Rajat Grover, shared this information with his employees in a fun and heartwarming email. He wrote, “This Diwali, take a complete break from work, laugh late into the night, eat lots of sweets, and only open emails if they’re from Amazon, Swiggy, or Zomato.” Reading this email brought smiles to all the employees’ faces.
These holidays will run from October 18th to October 26th, 2025. During this time, employees will get the opportunity to spend the entire time with their family, friends, and themselves as bonus time. Rajat Grover jokingly wrote in the email, “During this break, binge-watch family dramas, break your record of eating Kaju Katli, and become the best in the art of sleeping till noon.”
He ended the email with a sweet message, writing, “Spread smiles, burst firecrackers responsibly, and embrace every joy of this festival. When you return, come back two kilos heavier and ten times happier.”
When an employee shared this email on LinkedIn, the post went viral. People said it exemplified the best work culture, where the company doesn’t just spout slogans but truly values the well-being of its employees. The decision was enthusiastically received by employees at all levels. At a time when many companies are debating long hours and strict rules for returning to the office, Elite Mark’s move has become a shining example.
