Dearness Allowance Hike : DA increased by 4%, arrears will be received before Dussehra, good news for whom, know

All government employees will get 4 percent DA hike with retrospective effect from January 2023. With 4 percent increase, DA of Sikkim government employees has increased to 42 percent.

Central employees are waiting for Dearness Allowance (DA) for the second half of the year i.e. for the period from July to December. At the same time, different state governments are paying or announcing the DA dues of the employees. In this series, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has announced a 4 percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for the government employees of the state.


In a program he said- All government employees will get 4 percent DA increase with retrospective effect from January 2023. With 4 percent increase, DA of Sikkim government employees has increased to 42 percent. He said that the outstanding amount will be paid before the Dussehra festival next month. This means that state employees will get DA arrears before Dussehra.

Chief Minister Tamang also announced the implementation of ‘One Rank One Pension’ policy. He also assured the government employees that the old pension scheme in Sikkim will be implemented as soon as possible.

When will the gift be given to the central employees: Let us tell you that the central employees are also waiting for the dearness allowance for the second half. It is expected to be announced before Dussehra. It is believed that this time the allowance will be increased by 3 percent. Similarly, dearness relief i.e. DR for pensioners is also likely to increase by 3 percent.
