Dearness Allowance: The Nitish Government of Bihar has given great news to the employees of the state on this festive season. The cabinet has decided to give two months’ outstanding DA to the employees together in October.
Patna. Dearness Allowance: There is great news for the government employees and pensioners of Bihar. On this festive season, they will be paid a lump sum Dearness Allowance. In the coming October, it was approved to pay the outstanding DA along with the salary for the months of July and August. In the cabinet meeting, the employees getting the sixth pay scale will be given 189 percent DA instead of 164 from July 1, 2021.

According to a news published in Dainik Jagran, 21 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Nitish Kumar. In which it was decided to give outstanding DA to government employees. After this decision, 189 percent DA will be given to the employees coming under the 6th pay scale. Apart from this, the state employees coming under the 5th pay scale will be given DA per cent instead of 312.

Apart from DA, the cabinet also took many big decisions. State employees of Bihar will get 39 days leave from 2022. On this too the cabinet has given its approval. In these holidays, 15 holidays will be available under the orders of the executive. Three of these are Sundays. Apart from this, 21 holidays will be available under the NIA Act. It has six Sundays. Along with this, restricted and voluntary leave will be of 20 days. Out of this, any three can be used by the personnel.
Let us tell you that the central government had announced to increase DA in July. After the approval of the Union Cabinet, it was decided to increase the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief (DR) by 11%. After which the rate of DA of central employees has increased from 17% to 28%.
