The condition of the 12-year-old rape victim admitted to AIIMS remains critical. He was shifted to Neuro ICU for surgery on Friday, but has not yet undergone surgery due to swelling in his head. Doctors say that the girl’s condition is still critical and she is on ventilator. 




Doctors in the neuro department of AIIMS say that the girl is still in critical condition. She has not yet regained consciousness and is not able to breathe properly. Due to this, he has to provide ventilator support. Seeing the condition of the victim, the treating doctors are also praying for her recovery soon. The doctor told that an attempt is being made to cure him with medication. Two days ago, the doctors of paediatric surgery and obstetrics had jointly performed surgery on the lower abdomen of the victim. 
According to the doctors treating the baby, she was on ventilator support when she was admitted to AIIMS, but was later removed from the ventilator, but her condition did not stabilize. Due to this, he has to give ventilator support again. A CT scan test revealed that the baby had serious injury marks inside her head. His brain is swollen. Due to this, head surgery is not being done. Surgery will be done if the swelling subsides. The baby’s platelets were also significantly reduced on Friday, with little improvement on Saturday.

Aam Aadmi Party MLA Atishi met the family members of the rape victim admitted in AIIMS and handed over a check for Rs 10 lakh. Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had met the family members of the victim and promised to give them relief. Kejriwal had said that the government will provide financial help to the girl’s family and will provide all possible help to them. On Friday, the Chief Minister also visited the hospital to take stock of the condition of the girl child.

Atishi said that the girl is still in the Neuro Surgery ward and her condition is still critical. She prays for his recovery as soon as possible. Atishi said that he spoke to the girl’s family and assured them of all help from the government.

Atishi said that he appealed to the public that everyone should pray for the girl’s recovery as soon as possible so that she can recover and return to her family. He said that as per the promise of the Chief Minister, the family of the victim has handed over a check for assistance of Rs 10 lakh. He said that this amount cannot compensate in any way what happened to him, but this amount will be helpful in fulfilling the treatment and other needs of normal life.

Expressing concern over the incident of sexual harassment of a minor, Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, has described it as shameful. Vadra visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday and asked the parents of the victim about his well being. The girl has been shifted to the neurosurgery ICU for treatment.

Vadra has said to the family members that I am very upset and disappointed with this incident. After this incident, girls and women in the national capital are feeling more vulnerable. This incident is shameful not only for Delhi but for the entire country. Compensation to the victim’s family will not stop the trend of crime, rather it is necessary for the criminals to have such fear of the law so that they do not dare to commit such incidents again. The child’s parents are very worried. 



Commission will work to get the culprit hanged in six months
Delhi Women’s Commission chairperson Swati Maliwal said that Delhi’s daughter is still fighting for her life in the hospital. She has appealed to the people of the country to pray for the daughter’s well being and said that the Delhi Women’s Commission is with the victim’s family. The commission will work to get the culprits hanged within six months. 



Swati Maliwal said that the Commission had summoned the Deputy Commissioner of Police of outer Delhi in this matter. On Saturday, Delhi Police officials reached the Women’s Commission office and told them about the arrest of the accused. The officer said that after scanning hundreds of CCTV cameras, the accused was identified and arrested. But the chairperson of the Women’s Commission expressed surprise at this and said that it was intimidating that a case of murder was registered against the accused. He has already been sentenced despite how he is roaming freely outside the jail. The commission will work on many such accused involved in such a case are roaming freely.
