On Monday itself, the Empowered Committee has approved the payment of dearness allowance. The Regional Minister of Roadways Employees Joint Council, Man Singh said that the Principal Secretary, Bureau of Public Enterprises, Mr. Mustafa has issued an order for the approval of dearness allowance.


More than one thousand employees working in Prayagraj region will get the benefit of ordering ten percent dearness allowance to roadways employees by the government. After the order was issued, the roadways union officials also expressed happiness on Monday.

On Monday itself, the Empowered Committee has approved the payment of dearness allowance. The Regional Minister of Roadways Employees Joint Council, Man Singh said that the Principal Secretary of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Mr. Mustafa has issued an order for the approval of dearness allowance. The employees will get the benefit of three to six thousand rupees. Said that due to increase in dearness allowance by 10 percent, the total dearness allowance will now become 17 percent. Till now only 7 per cent dearness allowance was being received.

They told that the General Secretary of the organization, Girish Chandra Mishra, asked the Chief Minister to improve the condition of the corporation, buy new buses, convert the outstanding passenger tax into share capital and the rates of passenger tax in private buses and transport corporation buses. It has also appealed to remove the disparity and to put an effective stop on illegal operation. Uttar Pradesh Roadways Employees Union’s state minister and area in-charge Prayagraj Satya Narayan Yadav has also welcomed this decision.
