Benefit of increased DA will be available from July 1

According to the second hike, the increased DA hike is given to the employees from 1st July. But both the times they are announced two to three months late. For example, if the government announces DA / DR hike in September, it will be implemented from July 1.

DA expected to increase to 45 percent

Dearness allowance is fixed on the basis of AICPI index figures. On the basis of AICPI index from January to June, the figure of dearness allowance is running above 3 points. But the government does not consider the decimal point, so it is expected that this time the DA will increase by 3 percent and it will increase from 42 to 45 percent. However, there is a demand from the employees to increase the dearness allowance by 4 percent. The increased allowance will be paid to the employees from July 1.

There will also be a bumper boom in HRA

Under the Seventh Pay Commission, there is bound to be an increase in HRA after DA. However, there will be an increase in this when the dearness allowance will cross 50 percent. It still has at least six months to go. At present, HRA is divided on the basis of the category of cities. It is named X, Y, Z. Central employee living in X city will get more HRA. Employees living in Y and Z city will get less HRA than them. According to the city, 27 percent, 18 percent and 9 percent HRA is available.
