DA Hike: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given Diwali gift to the employees of the state. CM Yogi on Monday announced to increase dearness allowance by 4 percent in the basic salary of state government employees. Now the dearness allowance of state employees has increased to 46 percent. Apart from this, the Chief Minister has also announced 30 days bonus to the employees. The maximum limit of bonus for all non-gazetted state employees has been fixed at Rs 7,000.

Yogi said on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), 46% of the basic salary will be given to all the state employees, aided educational and technical educational institutions, urban bodies, UGC employees, work charged employees and pensioners who are contributing to the progress of Uttar Pradesh.
