There is great news for the employees. Dearness allowance has been increased for them. Orders have been issued by the Ministry of Finance. Under the issued order, they will be paid increased dearness allowance from the month of January.

Orders have been issued regarding the revised rate of dearness allowance. Employees will get its benefit from January 1, 2023. Also, up to ₹ 35000 can be seen in his account. They will be paid the arrears.

Revised rates of dearness allowance

The rates of Dearness Allowance have been revised for the employees of Central Government and Central Autonomous Body. The dearness allowance of the employees has been increased under the fifth pay scale. Along with this, dearness allowance has been increased by 16 percent.

Payment of 5 months arrears soon

The existing rate of 396% of the basic pay has been increased to 412% for drawing pay in the pre-revised pay scale as per the 5th Central Pay Commission. It will be made effective from 1 January 2023. Arrears of 5 months to be paid to the employees

Explain that under the order of the Ministry’s office memorandum provision dated 3 October 1997, it will be kept in force while regulating the dearness allowance. Under the administrative control of the same Ministry Department, all the organizations adopting the pay scales of the Central Government have been instructed to complete this process.

4% or 3% increase in Dearness Allowance is possible for the next half year as well.
Earlier, dearness allowance for central employees was increased at the rate of 4 per cent in January. It was implemented from 1 January. And it was announced in March. Arrears were paid to the employees. At the same time, dearness allowance can be increased by 4 percent or 3 percent for the next half year also. Along with this, dearness allowance can increase to 45 or 46%.
