Credit Card Charges Increased: Big news! ICICI bank increases credit card charges from February 10, know charges details

ICICI Bank will increase late payment fee, cash advance transaction fee, check return fee and auto debit return fee with effect from February 10, 2022.


New Delhi. If you are an ICICI Bank customer, then there is important news related to your pocket for you. Actually, ICICI Bank has decided to increase its service charges related to credit cards. The bank said that from February 10, 2022, it has been decided to increase the credit card late payment fees, cash advance transaction fees, check return fees and auto debit return fees.

According to the information available on the bank’s website, ICICI Bank has changed the late payment charge of other credit cards other than Emerald Credit Card. If your total outstanding amount is less than Rs 100, then the bank will not charge you anything. Higher the outstanding amount, higher will be the charge. For outstanding amount of Rs 50,000 or more, the bank will charge a maximum of Rs 1200. The new rates of the bank will be effective from February 10, 2022.

Apart from this, with effect from February 10, 2022, in case of cash advance from ICICI Bank credit card, the transaction fee will be 2.50 percent on the advanced amount, which will be at least Rs 500. Check return fee and auto debit return fee will be 2% of the total due amount, which will be a minimum of Rs 500.

Apart from this, ICICI Bank says that in case of check return fee and auto debit return fee, Rs 50 and GST will also be deducted separately from the customer’s savings account.
