Reserve Bank governor Shakti Kanta Das visited the RESERVE BANK headquarters in Mumbai daily to attend the work. In this context, a test conducted yesterday confirmed her being infected with corona.

The infection was done on a routine test.”

The RBI spokesman said the Central Office of the Reserve Bank of India in Mumbai would continue to function even if corona was affected by the governor. The Reserve Bank has four Deputy Governors.

Therefore, the Central Office of the Reserve Bank will continue to function as usual, because it is often cleaned with disinfectant.
