The Meteorological Department has predicted that the cold wave situation may continue in some parts of Central Maharashtra and Western Madhya Pradesh on 19th and 20th November. According to IMD data, Darjeeling was the coldest in the state on Tuesday with a temperature of 8.4 degrees Celsius, while another Himalayan town Kalimpong was the second coldest with a temperature of 12 degrees Celsius.

Chances of rain in South India
According to the IMD, heavy rainfall is expected to continue in South India in the coming days. The Meteorological Department predicts very heavy rainfall in Tamil Nadu from November 19th to 24th. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from November 19th to 22nd.
