Apart from old students, visas will also be issued to new students
In this regard, the Chinese Embassy cited the detailed announcement of introducing visas for students, businessmen and families of those working in China. The X1-Visa, according to the announcement, will be issued to students who want to go to China for a longer period of higher academic education. Apart from new students, these include students who want to return to China to continue their studies.
More than 23,000 Indian students went back home due to the Covid Visa Restrictions. Most of them are medical students. China had asked for the names of those who wanted to return immediately for their studies and after that India submitted a list of several hundred students.
