CBSE New Decision: The decision taken by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to conduct examinations twice a year from next year is harmful for both students and teachers. This view was expressed by Coaching Federation Punjab President Prof. MP Singh and other members in a press conference.
CBSE New Decision: The federation members said that the government’s decision to conduct board examinations twice will increase stress among students and the students’ balance will be disturbed due to 2 examinations within a few months. Along with this, he said that apart from students and teachers, schools will also face many problems due to this new examination system. He said that in this way there will be a double burden on teachers and students will also have to go through such a situation twice, in which they will have the most stress.
Dr. Jaspreet Singh said that due to examinations twice, the process of evaluation of answer sheets will also be done twice, which will affect the education of the students because the answer sheets are also checked by teachers and it also takes time. The federation members said that often schools conduct pre-board examinations before the board examination. In such a situation, school students will also take pre-board examinations twice a year. In the demand letter sent to the Prime Minister on behalf of the Coaching Federation, it has been demanded that before fully implementing this examination system, there is a need to reconsider all its aspects.
