CBSE Date Sheet 2026: CBSE 10th 12th datesheet released, check subject wise exam dates

The CBSE has released the timetable for the board exams to be held in 2026. According to the datesheet, exams for both classes will begin on February 17th. Class 10 exams will be held until March 7th, while Class 12 board exams will be held until April 9th, 2025.

CBSE Date Sheet 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative timetable for the 2026 Class 10th and 12th board exams. The datesheet has been shared online on the CBSE’s official website, cbse.gov.in. According to the datesheet, secondary exams will be held from February 17 to March 7, 2026, and senior secondary board exams will be held from February 17 to April 9, 2025. Students appearing for the board exams can download the datesheet from the website or from the direct link provided on this page.

The first paper for Class 10 will be in Mathematics, while the last paper will be in various language subjects. The first paper for Class 12 will be on the 17th, covering Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship, Shorthand English, and Shorthand Hindi, while the final paper will be in Sanskrit Core, Multimedia, and Data Science.

There will be two exams for the 10th grade.

The CBSE will conduct two board exams for the 10th grade next year, and the dates for these have been announced. According to the timetable, the second exam will begin on May 15th and conclude on June 1st, 2026.

What will be the timing of the paper?

According to the timetable released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the exam will be conducted in only one shift. The exam timing will be from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. For some subjects, the exam timing will be from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. All students should ensure that they arrive at the exam center before the scheduled time. Cards will be received from your school a few days before the exam.

Admit cards for students appearing for the board exams will be sent to your school by CBSE a few days before the exam. Students will then be able to collect their admit cards from their class teachers/principals. Please note that admit cards cannot be downloaded online. All students must bring their admit cards with them to the examination center before they will be allowed into the examination hall.
