The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the final date sheet for the 2026 board examinations. The CBSE Class 10th and 12th examinations will begin from February 17, 2026.
The Class 10 exams will be held from February 17 to March 10, 2026, and the Class 12 exams will be held from February 17 to April 9, 2026. All exams will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm, the timing of which will be determined according to the subject.
Class 10 board exams will be held twice a year.
CBSE has announced that from the 2026 session, the Class 10 board exams will be held twice a year, as recommended in the New Education Policy (NEP 2020).
The board first released a provisional date sheet on September 24, 2025, to allow students and schools to prepare in advance. Now that all schools have sent their subject combination data, the final date sheet has been released 110 days before the exam.
