Big change in accountancy subject
The Central Board of Secondary Education said that now the board has decided to abolish the answer sheets given in the accountancy subject. This decision was taken on the basis of feedback received from stakeholders. This change will be implemented from board exam 2023-24. Issuing the notice, the board said, “It is informed that from the Board Examination, 2024, CBSE, based on the feedback received from the stakeholders, has decided to remove the answer sheets in which tables were given in the Accountancy subject. Tables were provided regarding. Like other subjects, general line answer sheets will also be provided in Accountancy subject in class 12th from 2024 examination.
Big announcement on result
Last week CBSE has made a big announcement regarding the results. CBSE has announced that the board will not give any overall division, distinction or aggregate to the students appearing for class 10th and class 12th examinations in 2024. Not only this, the board will not even tell the percentage.
Sample paper
CBSE Board has released the sample papers for class 10th, 12th students appearing for the board exams in 2024 on its official website – cbseacademic.nic.in. The board has released a total of 60 sample papers for class 10th and 77 sample papers for class 12th.
Board exam twice a year
Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan had made a big announcement regarding the board exams. He had said that now board examinations will not be conducted once but twice a year. If students wish, they will be able to participate in one or both. The best score in both the examinations will be considered as the result. Students can appear for the board exams in those subjects which they have completed and for which they are fully prepared.
Two languages
Additionally, students of class 11th and 12th will have to study two languages from now on. Out of which at least one language should be Indian language. There will be no restriction of any kind in the choice of any subject. Students will have complete freedom to choose the subject.
