CBSE Board Exam 2024: Latest updates on CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Exam, Exam Schedule and Practical Exam

CBSE 2024 Class 10th, 12th Exam: CBSE board exams for class 10th and class 12th are scheduled to be held from 15 February 2024. Admit cards of all the students appearing in the board examination will be issued by CBSE in the first week of February.


New Delhi:CBSE 2024 Class 10th, 12th Exam Date sheets: CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th exam is scheduled to be held from 15 February 2024. The board has announced this long ago. However, students are eagerly waiting for the datesheet of CBSE Board Exam 2024. Students are waiting for the subject-wise detailed time table. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to release the datesheet for class 10th and class 12th board exams and the time table of the board exams will be released soon. If the news is to be believed, the board can release the CBSE board exam datasheet any time. In such a situation, all the students of class 10th and class 12th of CBSE board will be able to check and download the board exam datesheet 2024 for the upcoming board exams from the official website cbse.gov.in.


Admit card in February

CBSE Board class 10th and class 12th theory examinations 2024 are starting simultaneously from the same day. Board examinations are starting from 15th February, hence CBSE Board will release the admit card for Class 10th and CBSE Board Class 12th examinations in the month of February only. Students will be able to get the board exam admit card from their respective schools.

10th, 12th exams on the same day

Even though CBSE has not made any announcement on the board exam datesheet till now, it has released the CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Practical Exam Date and CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Theory Exam Date. Practical examinations for both CBSE classes 10th and 12th will begin from January 1 while theory examinations will begin from February 15, 2024.

CBSE marking scheme

CBSE has changed the marking scheme for 2024 board exams. Accordingly, more multiple choice questions (MCQs) have now been included in the assessment, due to which the importance of short or long answer questions has reduced. The weightage of objective questions will be 20%, while the weightage of short and long answer questions has been reduced from 40% to 30%.
