CBSE 12th term 1 exam: There has been a controversy over a question asked in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination. Let us inform that the 12th examinations of CBSE are going to start from Wednesday, December 1, 2021. On the first day of this examination, the examination of the subject of sociology was conducted. A question was asked in this question paper, due to which a situation of controversy has arisen.



 

A question related to the 2002 Gujarat riots was asked in the question paper of Sociology in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination. In the question paper, it was asked that in the year 2002, under which government did the anti-Muslim violence on an unprecedented scale take place. Four options were given to answer this question correctly- Congress, BJP, Democratic and Republican. After which objections started coming from all sides on social media regarding this question and the Central Board of Secondary Education was also accused of spreading poison between the two communities.

CBSE 12th term 1 exam: CBSE released statement

CBSE has also issued a statement after the controversial question in the question paper of Sociology. In a tweet made by CBSE, it has been said that an inappropriate question has been asked in the question paper of Sociology subject. This question is not as per CBSE guidelines. The outside expert has violated the guidelines of the Board while formulating the question. In its statement, CBSE has accepted the mistake and said that it will take action against those responsible.
