There is good news for more than 33 lakh students of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10th and 12th. Those who have given the board exam (CBSE Board Exam). The board has decided not to fail any student so far.
The decision comes after several students raised concerns that the CBSE Term-1 exam in the new MCQ format was difficult. So CBSE has decided not to pass or fail any student till now. As per the board, Term 1 board exam result will have marks only.
CBSE conducts the Term 1 exam on the basis of 50 percent rational syllabus and CBSE term 2 syllabus will cover the remaining 50 percent syllabus. The board has already shared the board exam syllabus on the official website cbseacademic.nic.in.
CBSE will calculate the results of class 10, 12 board exams 2022 by adding the marks of Term 1 exam and CBSE Term 2 exam. The final result will be the board exam result. However, if Term 2 exam is canceled due to Corona conditions like last year, the board has asked to consider the marks obtained in Term 1 exam as final.
The board had earlier said that the students will be assessed only for the exam and no student will receive pass, fail, repeat or compartment grades. The pass or fail merit list will also be provided after the conclusion of the second session examination. Term 1, Term 2, and internal assessment scores will form the final result.
CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj had earlier told the news agency that this would reduce the failure rate, and the youth would have more opportunities to develop themselves. They will be able to concentrate more on their school work. CBSE Class 10th and 12th Class 1 Board Exam Result likely to be declared in January.
How to Check CBSE Class 10, Class 12 Board Result
- Log on to the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link ‘CBSE 10th Term 1 Board Result 2022’ or ‘CBSE 12th Term 1 Board Result 2022’.
- Enter your CBSE Term 1 Roll Number and other details
- Click on submit and your CBSE Term 1 Board Result 2022 will be displayed
- Download it and take a print out of it for future use.
