CBSE issued a circular saying that the passage asked in the 10th English examination on December 11, 2021 was not in accordance with the guidelines of the board, it has been removed and the students will be given its full marks.


After the ruckus on the English paper of the Central Board of Secondary Education for class 10th (CBSE Class 10 Term-1 Exam 2021), the question has been removed and the CBSE has withdrawn it saying that the passage no. It has been removed and all students will be given full marks.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Notification) issued a statement saying that a set of passages in the English Language and Literature question paper of class 10th Term-1 examination is not in accordance with the guidelines of the board. Based on the feedback received, the Board sent the matter to the subject experts for review. Based on his recommendation, it has been decided to remove passage number 1 and its related question from the question paper. In return, full marks will be given to the students.

Sentences like ‘respect can be found’ were used, on which there was a ruckus from the street to the house. The hashtag #CBSEInsultsWoman had become trending as soon as the paper went viral on social media. The same opposition had also raised questions. As the matter grew and surrounded all round, CBSE has canceled it and issued an order to give full marks to the students.
