Byju’s is one of the biggest Ed-tech companies in the world. According to reports, the company has held a meeting with 5000 Byju’s Tuition Centers (BTC) on 22nd July. In which it has been agreed to give them incentives and variables. Along with this, the company has assured the employees that there will be no retrenchment now. Let me tell you, it was being said that BTC employees were going for a nationwide agitation on 25th July.

Company will give variable next month

Mrinal Mohit, India business head of Byju’s, has held a meeting with BTC employees, Money Control reports. In which their concerns have been addressed. After this meeting, it has also been decided to pay the money to the employees. Let me tell you, Mohit has told the employees that the company will pay the incentive from next month. Whereas, the variable will be given in the next quarter.

There was preparation for retrenchment!

It was being said in some reports that Byju’s may lay off its BTC employees from July 26. The reason behind this was believed to be tuition subscription. But after last week’s meeting, the employees must have heaved a sigh of relief. At the same time, the spokesperson of Byju’s has said on this occasion that Mohit’s conversation with BTC employees was fixed long ago. This is not the result of any rumour. It is time to celebrate our achievements.

What is the company and the employee’s side?

A Byju’s spokesperson said they were not aware of any employee agitation. Any such rumor is completely false. However, the staff disagrees. Talking to Money Control, Zia Ur Rehman, Area Manager, Byju’s Tuition Center said that this townhall was not pre-planned. The main reason for organizing this is to stop the movement. They have clarified that the company has accepted their main demands, so we have decided that there will be no agitation.
