While giving good news, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that in the year 2026, the bullet train project from Surat to Bilimora in Gujarat will be completed and it will be ready to start. Let us tell you that bullet train will run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. For this, work has been going on rapidly for many years.

Speaking to News 18, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “It is not just a means of transport. When it runs, the economy of all the cities around it will be connected. Mumbai, Thane, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand and Ahmedabad will become one economy zones. Bullet train will be ready by 2026. It will first run between Surat-Bilimora section. The Railway Minister claimed that in other countries it takes 20 years to complete the bullet train project between 500 kilometers, but in India this work will take eight to 10 years. Will be completed within.

The bullet train will run between Gujarat, Dadar and Nagar Haveli and Maharashtra. A total of 1400 hectares of land is required for this. This will include 156 km area of Maharashtra. Apart from this, trains will run for 4 kilometers in Dadar and Nagar Haveli and 384 kilometers in Gujarat. For this, India will purchase six E5 series bullet trains from Japan by the end of this month. The Bullet Train will cover the distance between Ahmedabad and Mumbai in just two hours. In the last one year, six bridges have been completed on various rivers for the project and seven out of 20 bridges have been completed in Gujarat.
