New Delhi. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is offering prepaid plans as well as great plans for broadband connections. Even though the government company lags behind private telecom companies in terms of providing mobile services, it is a strong contender in broadband service in the country. If you are looking for an affordable broadband plan, which also gives you a decent OTT benefit, then BSNL can be a good option.
BSNL gives its broadband service in the name of ‘Bharat Fiber’. The company is offering a broadband plan of Rs 749 to its customers, in which you also get OTT benefits with a speed of 100 Mbps. However, this plan is not available in all circles.
Free fixed line connection for voice calls
BSNL calls its Rs 749 plan ‘Superstar Premium-1’. In this plan, you get 100 Mbps internet speed with 1000GB or 1TB data. Once the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) data is exhausted, the company provides internet speed of 5 Mbps to the users. Apart from this, BSNL will provide free fixed line connection to the users for voice calls, but the company will not provide telephone gear. Users will have to buy it themselves from the market. Let us inform that BSNL is also offering 3.3TB monthly FUP data like other private Internet service providers (ISPs), so that it remains in the ongoing competition with private companies.

This broadband plan is full of OTT benefits. With BSNL’s Rs 749 fiber broadband plan, users also get free subscription to OTT platforms SonyLIV Premium, ZEE5 Premium, Voot and YuppTV-Live. Please note that GST is not included in the price of the plan. After applying GST, the customer will have to pay Rs 900 for this plan.
