Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new broadband plan for Rs 1,999 dubbed as the Bharat Fiber Broadband Combo plan that offers speeds of up to 200 Mbps. The plan offers a validity of 90 days and is available in Telangana and Chennai telecom circles. The new plan offers unlimited voice calls along with 1.5TB of data at 200Mbps speed. After the 1.5TB high-speed data cap is reached, the speed will drop to 2Mbps. The plan is unlimited during the validity period and users can continue to surf and download at 2Mbps.



The new broadband plan is available till April 6 and users are required to pay one month charges as security deposit.

Meanwhile, BSNL had increased the validity of its Rs 1,999 prepaid plan as part of Christmas and New Year offer. Users will get 60 days extra under the plan, increasing its validity to 425 days from the 365 days. The promotional offer will continue till January 31, 2020.

BSNL’s Rs 1,999 plan offers 3GB data per day along with free SMS with a daily limit of 100. Users also get unlimited calls to all networks under the plan. Additional benefits with the plan include free BSNL Tunes and BSNL TV subscriptions for a validity of 365 days.



Meanwhile, Reliance Jio has also announced its Happy New Year 2020 offer. For smartphone users, 2020 Happy New Year comes with the validity of 365 days and it offers unlimited voice calling, 1.5GB daily data, SMS, and access to Jio Services at Rs 2020. JioPhone users, on the other hand will get a free JioPhone along with unlimited calling, 0.5GB data per day, SMS and access to JioApps with one year of validity at Rs 2,020.
