Earlier this month, the government announced a grant of Rs 44,720 crore to the loss-making BSNL. This was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her Budget 2022-23 speech. According to the budget, this money will be used for 4G service of BSNL and restructuring of the company.
