Book Unreserved ticket on UTS app: Unreserved ticket will be booked from mobile sitting at home, know process

Due to the reduction of Corona havoc, now permission has been given to travel in many trains on unreserved i.e. unreserved tickets. Due to this, now passengers can book tickets through the UTS mobile app in their mobile without standing in line. Learn the whole process.



Since the outbreak of Corona epidemic in the country, Indian Railways had allowed only reserved ticket holders to travel in trains, due to which unreserved tickets were also closed at home. But now the relief news is that now passengers can travel in general coach of most trains with unreserved or general ticket. This decision has been taken in view of the decreasing cases of corona infection. Not only this, passengers will not have to stand in long queues to get general or unreserved tickets. Passengers can book tickets through the UTS mobile app on their mobiles sitting at home.

In Jabalpur railway division, travel on unreserved tickets has started in about half a dozen trains with two coaches in Rewa Intercity General Coach, Jabalpur-Rewa Shuttle. Passengers of trains in which unreserved or general tickets have been allowed to travel are still mandatory to follow the rules related to Corona Guidelines. After getting permission, now most of the people will book unreserved tickets through UTS app on mobile. Please note that UTS app can be used in both Hindi and English language. Here after registering the name, mobile number, OTP will be received, through which you will be able to create your ID and password.


How To Book Tickets From UTS Mobile App

  • Download UTS App from Google Play Store in mobile.
  • After that you have to register your mobile number with it.
  • Now create your ID.
  • After this you will see two options to book tickets in the app.
  • You can start the ticket booking process by choosing between Book and Paper (Paperless) and Book and Print (Paper).
  • If you opt for paperless, you will not need to remove the ticket from the ticket vending machine at the station.
