In this regard, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna has said in its notice issued that 02 lakh 14 thousand 287 candidates of Matriculation and Intermediate have been passed without compartmental examination. It has been passed to the same candidates who failed in either one subject or two subjects.

Let us also tell you that this year, a total of 03 lakh 40 thousand 633 students failed in one or two subjects in the matriculation or 10th examination and 12th or intermediate examination. Out of which a total of 01 lakh 32 thousand 489 students of class 12 were such who failed in only one or two subjects and these students were eligible to take compartmental examination. Out of which 72,610 students have been passed on the basis of grace marks.
