Indian Government: Office letter has been issued by the Department of Expenditure. In which some things have been said to the employees. Employees have been told that unnecessary cancellation of tickets should also be avoided.

The Finance Ministry has asked the employees to choose the cheapest fare in the travel class they are entitled to. Along with this, it has been said by the government that employees should book tickets for tours and LTC at least three weeks before the date of their flight tickets.

Avoid unnecessary ticket cancellation

Actually, the office letter has been issued by the Department of Expenditure. In which some things have been said to the employees. The letter states that employees should book only one ticket for each leg of the journey and booking can be done while the itinerary approval process is in progress. Also, in this letter, the employees have been told that unnecessary cancellation of tickets should also be avoided.

Self-declared explanation to be given

Explain that government employees can buy air tickets only from three authorized travel agents. These include Bomer Lawrie & Company, Ashok Travel & Tours and IRCTC. At the same time, guidelines related to the booking of air tickets at the new government expense have also been given to the employees. According to these, for booking within less than 72 hours of travel, the employee will have to give a self-declared explanation. Apart from this, even if the ticket is canceled less than 24 hours after the journey, the employee will have to give a self-declared explanation.

Book tickets 21 days in advance

In the letter issued by the government, it has been said that the employees should choose the cheapest flight ticket available in their travel class. Also, the tickets of all the employees for any one journey should be booked through the same travel agent. At the same time, no fee should be paid to these booking agents. Along with this, the employees have also been asked to book the tickets at least 21 days in advance so that there is minimum burden on the exchequer.
