Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has extended the period of ban on international flights in view of the increasing threat of a new strain of Corona. The Government of India has today extended the suspension of international commercial flights till February 28. Let us tell you that earlier the central government had suspended all international flights to and from the country till January 31.
DGCA issued orders
DGCA has also issued orders for this. According to the DGCA order, the suspension of flights will not affect cargo and DGCA approved flights. Actually, all international flights to and from India are closed since 23 March 2020 due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. But, since July 2020, some special international passenger flights are operating under the air bubble agreement with about 28 countries. So that in case of emergency the passengers are not inconvenienced.

Corona’s dreadful situation

According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, 2 lakh 82 thousand 970 new cases have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours (8 am on Tuesday to 8 am on Wednesday). This is 44 thousand 952 more than the new case that came on Tuesday. There were 2,38,018 cases of corona virus yesterday. According to the Ministry of Health, 1 lakh 88 thousand 157 people have recovered in the last 24 hours in India, while 441 people have died during this period.
