New Delhi: EPFO ​​UAN Bank Account Details Update: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has given a big relief to EPF holders. Actually, EPFO ​​has extended the deadline for linking UAN with Aadhaar for North-East establishments and certain categories of establishments till 31 December 2021. EPFO has given this information by tweeting from its official Twitter handle.

If the Provident Fund money of an employee is deducted, then a 12-digit Universal Account Number is given by the employer. In this, the details of every PF account of the account holder remain in one place. The UAN is linked to the EPF account and also contains the bank details of the employee. Let us tell you that the deadline for linking Universal Account Number (UAN) with Aadhaar number was 1st September 2021 but now its limit has been increased to 31st December. Link EPF and Aadhaar in this way
However, there is no need to worry too much for this, because Aadhaar with UAN can be linked in four ways sitting at home. First through member service portal, second through UMANG app, third through OTP verification on EPFO’s e-KYC portal and fourth through biometric credentials on EPFO’s e-KYC portal.


Step-by-step process

1. For this , go to the portal of EPFO ​​Member e-SEWA https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/ .
2. Login there by entering UAN number and password.
3. After this, going to the Manage tab, click on KYC.
4. A new page will open here. On Add KYC, enter your Aadhaar number and PAN number (PAN).
5. Here you will see your details in the Pending KYC tab.
6. From here EPFO ​​will approve the linking, after which your Aadhaar information will come in the Approved KYC tab and thus your Aadhaar will be linked to EPF.
