Raj Kundra Police Custody Extended: Industrialist Raj Kundra is facing charges of being involved in the production of pornographic films. The Mumbai court has extended his police custody by 5 days.



New Delhi. The difficulties of industrialist Raj Kundra, who was arrested for producing pornographic films, have increased further. On Friday (July 23), a Mumbai court extended his police custody till July 27. During this time his colleague Ryan Thorpe will also be in custody. Raj Kundra was taken to the court from Byculla jail, where after hearing the arguments of the police, the court extended his police custody for another 5 days. So far 11 people, including Raj Kundra, have been arrested in this case that came to light in February 2021.

Mumbai Police had demanded from the court to keep Raj Kundra in police custody for seven more days. The police told the court that more investigation is yet to be done in this case and evidence is yet to be found, for which they need time.

The Mumbai Police told the court that they suspected that the money earned through pornography was used for online betting. For this reason, the Yes Bank account and United Bank account of Raj Kundra should be investigated.

According to a Times report, Raj Kundra is not cooperating with the police in the investigation and has no answers to the questions being asked by him during the investigation. He has so far denied all the allegations against him in this case.
