Any farmer who wants to take loan for sowing of crops, fertilizers, seeds, etc., they will have to first get KCC (Kisan Credit Card) made by applying for PM KCC Yojana. On this card, farmers will be able to get loans ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh without guarantee. For a loan of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, only 4 percent interest will have to be paid. A subsidy of up to 2 percent is also provided by the government to the farmers on KCC (Kisan Credit Card). If the loan amount is repaid by the beneficiary farmer on time, then the government provides a rebate of up to 3 percent to such beneficiary farmers. For your information, let us tell you that only 4% interest has to be paid on the loan amount on Kisan Credit Card. If a beneficiary farmer does not repay the loan amount on time, then in the end that beneficiary farmer does not get the benefit of 3% rebate and instead the farmer has to pay interest at the rate of 7%.
