Pensioners can submit their Jeevan Pramaan digitally from home by attaching a UIDAI certified biometric device on their personal computer or mobile.



ThereĀ  is big news for the pensioner. Pensioners are advised to submit their life certificate at the earliest, otherwise your pension may stop. To continue receiving his pension, every government pensioner has to submit an annual life certificate in November. People aged 80 years or above have started submitting life certificates from October 1. Pensioners can submit Annual Life Certificate in various ways. Pensioners aged 80 years and above can submit life certificate from 1 October 2021.

Here are the different ways to submit life certificate

Life certificate can be submitted through bank branch. Life certificate can be submitted in the traditional way in which pensioners have to visit the bank branch to pay their pension.

Submission of Life Certificate through Jeevan Pramaan Portal

In the online method, a pensioner can digitally submit his Jeevan Pramaan from home by attaching a UIDAI certified biometric device to his personal computer or mobile. For digital submission of Jeevan Pramaan, pensioners need to ensure that their pension account is linked with Aadhaar number.


Submission of life certificate through postman at home

Pensioners can book door-to-door requests on the Post Info mobile app or government websites. The certificate will be generated instantly with the proof ID sent on the mobile of the pensioners. Jeevan Pramaan details will be auto updated with the Pension Department. It is a chargeable service and will be available to all Central Government pensioners across the country, even if their pension accounts are in a different bank. The service will attract a nominal fee of Rs 70.

Submission of Life Certificate through Doorstep Banking Facility

  • Doorstep banking app needs to be downloaded to avail doorstep banking for submission of life certificates.
  • Choose your bank and place your request for door to door service for submission of Life Certificate.
  • Enter your Pension Account Number and verify it.
  • You can check doorstep service charge, click on proceed. You can avail this service by paying only a nominal fee
  • After submitting your request, you will receive an SMS mentioning the name of the agent.
  • The bank agent will visit your home address and complete the life certificate submission process.
