Earlier, a maximum of 6 online tickets could be booked in a month from IRCTC account, due to which there was inconvenience in ticketing if there were more than six people, but now after the change in the rule, one month by linking Aadhaar with your IRCTC account. 12 tickets can be booked instead of 6.



Railways has changed a rule for ticket booking. This change is going to give special benefit to those people, who travel more by rail. If you also travel by train and want to take advantage of this change, then you should know about this rule. You can take advantage of this change by linking your Aadhar card with IRCTC.

This change was made in the rules of ticket booking.

Earlier, a maximum of 6 online tickets could be booked in a month from IRCTC account, due to which there was inconvenience in ticketing if there were more than six people, but now after the change in the rule, Aadhaar has to be changed. By linking to your IRCTC account, 12 tickets can be booked in a month instead of 6. If you want to link Aadhaar with IRCTC Account then this method will be right for you. How to link Aadhaar

  • For this, first one has to go to the official e-ticketing website of IRCTC, irctc.co.in.
  • Here you log in by entering your User ID and Password.
  • Now going to the ‘My Account section’ appearing on the home page, click on ‘Aadhaar KYC’.
  • After this, on the next page enter your Aadhaar number and click on ‘Send OTP’.
  • Now OTP will come on the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar Card. Enter this OTP and do the verification.




  • After viewing the information related to Aadhaar, click on ‘Verify’ written below.
  • After which the mobile information will be given that the KYC details have been successfully updated.

Due to work 19 pairs of trains canceled

The work of doubling of Kolaigram and Gumani Hut railway section of Alipurduar division of Northeast Frontier Railway is going on. Due to this reason 19 pairs of trains passing through here i.e. 38 trains have been cancelled. Apart from this, the operation of about a dozen trains has been affected and their routes have been changed. These trains have been canceled on different dates. It mainly consists of Kamakhya, Anand Vihar Special, Vadmer-Guhavati, Gandhidham and other trains, which have been affected and canceled on different routes.
