Due to this the deadline for submission of life certificate has been extended by 1 month. Now pensioners can comfortably submit their life certificate by the end of December.
Know the reasons for extending the deadline
The Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare has given information through an Office Memorandum. The department said that the effect of corona virus remains in many states. Due to the higher age of the pensioners, they are more at risk than Corona. In view of all these things, the department extended the last date for submission of certificates by one month.
Pension will continue
The deadline for submission of life certificate for government pensioners was ending on 30 November 2021. According to the memorandum, now government pensioners of all ages can submit their life certificates by 31 December 2021. Pensioners need not worry about pension as their pension will not be stopped during this period. The department has asked the pension disbursing authorities to continue with the payment of pension.
These benefits will be available by increasing the deadline
According to the department, by increasing the deadline for submission of life certificates, the biggest advantage will be that the crowd in banks can be controlled. All the guidelines of Corona will be easily followed. It will also become easier for the Pension Disbursing Authority to manage and maintain social distancing in banks.
There is no deadline for these pensioners
Every year government pensioners have to deposit their life certificate in their bank. If the person does not do this then his pension can be stopped. Pensioners whose age is 80 years or more, they can submit their life certificate after 1 October. Other government pensioners can submit the life certificate from November 1 to November 30. Apart from this, pensioners of EPS 95 can get their life certificate submitted at any time in the year. There is no deadline for them.
