The discussion of the new rule regarding Portugal’s work from home is all over the world. According to the new rule, the company cannot call any employee when the employee’s shift is over while working from home. If she does so, she will be fined. Portugal’s socialist government said the new rule was based on the response of most workers working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Work From Home rules: After the corona epidemic, there has been a change in the modus operandi of work. This epidemic has further spread the culture of working from home. Now that many work has become normal, even after this, the culture of work from home continues in many companies. Some companies have given the facility of working from home on a permanent basis.

The impact of work from home culture is being seen on both the company and the employees in two ways. Some people are happy in this arrangement and have adapted themselves to it, but there are some people who have become very angry while working from home. These people say that working from home is having a negative effect on their ability and stress is also increasing.

Well these are both aspects of work from home culture. Now let’s talk about the rules and regulations regarding this system.

The discussion of the new rule regarding Portugal’s work from home is all over the world. According to the new rule, the company cannot call any employee when the employee’s shift is over while working from home. If she does so, she will be fined.

After the “work from home” time is over, the boss or senior who calls an employee will be punished.

Portugal’s parliament last week gave its approval to a new labor law regarding work from home. This law provides additional protection to employees while working at home away from the company.

Portugal’s socialist government said the new rule was based on the response of most workers working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The government found that during work from home, the company or a senior of the company keeps its employee busy with work all the time. Interruptions are made in the personal life of the employees by calling them from time to time. An employee sitting at home does not even know when his office started and when it ended. He is always busy with work. In view of all these things, the Portuguese government has made this law.

The Portuguese government argues that calling an employee working from home at any time cannot be considered correct from the point of view of maintaining better mental and physical health of a person.

Now after this law, no senior of the company can call the employee working from home after the expiry of the duty deadline. The new rules state that companies should avoid contacting employees after office hours, except in exceptional circumstances.

The rule states that employees should also meet their superiors at least every two months, so that they do not feel isolated from the company.

The new rule says companies must pay employees working from home additional personal expenses such as electricity or internet bills.

This law even says that if the child of an employee is small, then he can work from home till he attains the age of 8 years. This new law will be applicable to those institutions, workplaces, groups where more than 10 people work.
