Unagi is an electric scooter manufacturer, on behalf of which the Ride Scoot program has been launched. This program is for US based Google employees. Google’s US-based worker will be refunded the full price for the electric scooter. However, this price will be given on monthly subscription.

David Hyman, founder and CEO of Unagi, says that the idea of giving an electric scooter can prove to be helpful for calling Google employees to the office. Earlier, Google used to offer free shuttle bus service to its employees to come to Silicon Valley. However, now keeping in mind the corona, this service has been started.

Initially, the employees will have to take this scooter by themselves and later the company will pay for it.
For this, a rule has also been fixed that the employee will have to come to the office by electric scooter at least 9 times every month. Apart from Google’s main office, this facility will also be applicable in Seattle, Kirkland, Irvine, Sunnyvale, Playa Vista, Austin and New York.
