Because the central government has increased the Dearness Allowance hike for some employees working in Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). This increase in Dearness Allowance has been implemented from January 1, 2022. With this increase, there will be a significant increase in the salary of central employees.

Who will benefit

According to the order of Under Secretary Samuel Haque, there is a substantial increase in Dearness Allowance for employees of Board level and below Board level, including non-federal supervisors working in CPSEs, whose pay scales have been revised as on January 01, 2017. Is. The rate of Dearness Allowance payable to Executive and Non-Federal Supervisors of CPSEs will be 29.4% for the 2017 pay scale.

Employees getting revised salary from 2017 will benefit

Former President of AG Office Brotherhood HS Tiwari informed that the above rate of DA i.e. 29.4% will be applicable in the case of Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) employees who have been allowed revised pay scale (2017) as per the order of DPE. According to Haq’s order, all the administrative Ministries/Departments of the Government of India are requested to take necessary action on their behalf and give orders to the executives of CPSEs in this regard.

  • The Chief Executives of Central Public Sector Enterprises
  • Advisers in the Administrative Ministries/Departments
  • Department of Expenditure, E-II Branch, North Block, New Delhi
  • The Comptroller & Auditor General of India, 9 Deen Dayal Upadhayay
  • Marg, New Delhi

What was dearness allowance earlier?

Let us inform that on January 1, 2020, the dearness allowance of these employees was made 17.2 percent. This DA was for the employees getting the revised pay scale of 2017. Whereas the dearness allowance of employees in the 2007 pay scale was 157.3 percent. At the same time, the dearness allowance of employees in the 1997 pay scale was 334.3 percent.
