Big decision of Indian Railways! Many express trains have been converted into superfast, see the train list here

Express trains already running from the railway side have been put in the category of superfast. Along with this, in view of the festive season, South Central Railway has announced to convert some passenger trains into express from October.  



New Delhi: There is good news for those traveling by rail. Indian Railways has converted some express trains into superfast ahead of the festival. Let us tell you that as soon as the superfast is made, the speed of these trains will increase and the stoppage will also be reduced.

Railway South Central Zone has taken this big step because the number of passengers increases during the festive season. Let us tell you that under this only the already running express trains have been put in the category of superfast. Due to the festive season, South Central Railway has announced to convert some passenger trains into express from October.

673 trains included in this class

After making passenger trains express and express trains superfast, 673 trains have been included in this class, whose speed is being increased as compared to earlier. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, South Central Railway has taken this step. Now railway passengers will be able to complete their journey in less time than before. At present, 872 trains are operating in this zone, after changing the category, the speed of 673 trains will increase.

1. 17025-17026 Secunderabad-Manuguru Express, converted into superfast 02745-02746

2. 17213-17214 Narsapur-Nagarsol Express, converted into superfast 02713-02714

3. 17605-17606 Kacheguda-Mangaluru Central Express, converted into superfast 02777-02778

4. 17017-17018 Secunderabad-Rajkot Express, converted into superfast 02755-02756

5. 17203-17204 Kakinada Town-Bhavnagarh Express, converted into superfast 02699-02700

6. 17037-17038 Secunderabad-Hisar Express, converted into superfast train number 02789-02790

Information about timings and stoppages etc. of trains changed from these express to superfast can be seen on the customer care number or on IRCTC portal www.irctc.co.in . Apart from this, passengers can find information related to trains on the National Train Inquiry System (NTES). If the passengers want, they can also get information about the timing of trains at the station manager or at the counter of their railway station.

Railway’s tremendous offer for Bihar 



Chhath and Diwali festival have great importance in Bihar. In view of the huge rush of passengers during these festivals, Indian Railways has announced to run festival special trains from New Delhi and Anand Vihar stations to Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Barauni, Saharsa and Jaynagar stations of Bihar. All coaches in these special trains will be of reserved category and passengers traveling in these will have to follow the rules of Kovid-19. These trains will be operated from October 11 to November 20.

In all these trains, there will be a total of 20 coaches including 09 sleeper coaches, 09 general coaches and 02 SLR coaches. Along with this, IRCTC has announced to start festive special trains for many places other than Bihar. Special train is also being run from Delhi to Vaishno Devi Darshan.
