Will the price of LPG increase from February 1, 2022?

However, the price of LPG gas was increased even before Diwali. There was a huge increase in the price of LPG gas cylinder by Rs 266, although it was a matter of relief that this increase was done only in commercial cylinders. There was no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. The price of commercial cylinder in Delhi is still beyond Rs 2000. Earlier it was Rs 1733. At the same time, a 19 kg cylinder, which is available in Mumbai for Rs 1683, is currently available for Rs 1950. In Kolkata 19 kg Indane gas cylinder is getting Rs 2073.50 and in Chennai 19 kg cylinder is getting Rs 2133.

Commercial gas cylinder prices till 1 january 2022

According to the IOC, on January 1, 2022, the price of a commercial gas cylinder in Delhi has come down by Rs 102.50 to Rs 1,998.5. In Mumbai, a 19 kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 102.50 to Rs 1,948.5, in Kolkata by Rs 101 to Rs 2,076 and in Chennai by Rs 103.50 to Rs 2,131. Public sector petroleum marketing company Indian Oil has given a big gift to the people by reducing the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 100 from January 1. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.
