Customers can get their new Cheque book by visiting the branch. Apart from this, applying for a new Cheque book can also be done through ATM, Internet Banking.


New Delhi: New Cheque Book: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has alerted the account holders of Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) and United Bank of India (UBI). PNB has said that if the account holders of these two banks have old Chequebooks, then they will not be of any use from next month. So apply for a new cheque book immediately.

PNB has given this information on Twitter. In which the bank has written that the old Cheque book of eOBC and eUNI is going to be closed from 1-10-2021. Please replace your old eOBC and eUNI Cheque book with PNB’s updated IFSC and MICR cheque book.

Let us tell you that Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India merged with Punjab National Bank on 1 April 2020. If your bank account has also been in these two banks, then what will you have to do for a new Cheque book, let us know.

You can get the new Cheque book by visiting the branch of PNB. If you do not want to go to the branch, then you can apply for a Cheque book in other ways also.

3. You can also request for Chequebook through PNB One app

4. You can also ask for the Cheque book by calling the call center

Only new Cheque book will run from October 1

In its tweet by PNB, the bank has alerted its customers. In which the bank has written that all customers are requested to use new PNB Cheque book with updated PNB IFSC and MICR to avoid any transaction related inconvenience. PNB Festival Bonanza

Keeping in mind the festive season, PNB has waived many charges on all retail loans. It has been said by the bank that processing fee will not be charged on products like home loan, auto loan, personal loan, property loan, pension loan and gold loan. Not only this, service charge and documentation charge have also been waived on all these loans.


Opportunity till 31st December

Punjab National Bank is offering Personal Loan @ 8.95 percent. PNB says that its personal loan is the cheapest in the industry. PNB is offering Home Loan at an attractive interest rate of 6.8 per cent, while Car Loan is being offered at 7.15 per cent. Punjab National Bank has named it Festival Bonanza Offer. Apart from this, the bank has also made top up on home loan attractive, on which the interest rates will be low. All these offers can be availed till 31 December 2021.
