Professor – 85 Posts

Who can apply
The eligibility to apply for these posts of BHU is according to the post. For example, for the post of Professor, along with PhD in the related field, at least ten research papers should be published. Along with this, there should be at least ten years of teaching experience. Similarly, PhD and eight years of experience have been sought for Associate Professor. How will be the selection
The selection of candidates for these posts will be done after passing several stages of examination. Like there will be a written test first. After that interview and finally document verification will be done.
What is the salary and fees
To apply for these posts, General, EWS and OBC candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000. SC, ST, PWD, Women and Transgender candidates do not have to pay the fee. On selection, the salary is according to the post.
The salary for the post of Professor ranges from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 per month. Similarly, the salary for Associate Professor ranges from Rs 1,31,000 to Rs 2,17,000. The salary for Assistant Professor ranges from 57,000 to 1,82,000.
