Bank Job: Are you also preparing to get a job in a bank? So there is important news for you. Now to get a job in a bank, along with a good score, CIBIL score will also be required. Without a good CIBIL score you will not get a job in a bank. Now securing a job in a bank or NBFC is not just about hard work. Now a good CIBIL or credit score is mandatory. Banking sector recruitment agency IBPS has introduced a new criteria in the RRB, IBPS Clerk and PO Recruitment notices, which states that applicants must have a good credit score as part of the eligibility. .

Credit score should be above 650

Candidates must have a credit score of more than 650 when appearing in the bank exam. And it is emphasized that every candidate applying for IBPS and Bank post should be aware of his/her CIBIL score. The process of checking scores should be easily available. IBPS Chairman MV Rao has assured that low credit score alone will not lead to disqualification.

What is CIBIL score?

Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited issues CIBIL or credit score in the country which ranges from 300 to 900. It is a three-digit score that reflects an individual’s ability to repay the loan. Your credit score reflects how well you manage loan payments within your budget. Your credit history and record decides this.

What will happen if it is not given?

To get a bank job, the candidate will have to give a letter of CIBIL score. This has to be given before joining the job. Failure to do so may result in the offer letter being cancelled.

Candidates are upset with the new rules

Candidates who want to get a job in a bank are troubled by the new rules regarding bank jobs. Especially those people who are preparing for clerical job in the age group of 20 to 28 years. Some people are questioning the logic behind demanding a mandatory credit score for fresh graduates without any job experience. According to the director of a coaching centre, people without bank accounts have been exempted from checking their CIBIL scores. This is a cause for concern because many candidates often do not even have their own bank account.
