New Delhi: Bank Holidays in November 2021 : If you are also going to do bank related work in this month (November 2021), then first read this news. Like many holidays are going to happen. In this entire month, a total of 17 days will be closed (Bank Holidays November). Many holidays are going to fall continuously. Banks will remain closed for 17 days

  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of official bank holidays for the month of November, according to which there are 17 holidays in the month of November.
  • During this, banks will be closed continuously in many cities of India. Let us tell you that weekly holidays are also included in this 17-day holiday.
  • According to RBI guidelines, banks are closed on Sundays as well as on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, RBI has declared holidays on November 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19, 22 and 23. Apart from this, there are four Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays in the month.


Bank holidays in November 2021

  • 1st November – Kannada Rajyotsava/Kut – Banks closed in Bengaluru and Imphal
  • 3rd November – Naraka Chaturdashi – Banks closed in Bengaluru
  • 4th November – Diwali Amavasya (Lakshmi Puja)/ Deepavali/Kali Puja – Banks closed in all states except Bengaluru
  • 5th November – Diwali (Bali Pratipada) / Vikram Samvat New Year / Govardhan Puja – Banks closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai and Nagpur
  • November 6 – Bhai Dooj / Chitragupta Jayanti / Laxmi Puja / Deepawali / Ningol Chakoba – Bank closed in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow and Shimla
  • 7 November – Sunday (weekly holiday)
  • 10 November – Chhath Puja / Surya Shashthi Dala Chhath – Bank closed in Patna and Ranchi
