In the year 2022, there will be 52 Sundays and 24 second-fourth Saturday holidays. Apart from this, the offices will remain closed on the occasion of many festivals and anniversaries.

  • 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th January will be a holiday as it falls on a Sunday.

    On January 8 and 15, there will be a holiday due to the second and fourth Saturdays.

  • On the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January, all the institutions will remain closed for work.

February

  • 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th February will be a holiday as it falls on a Sunday.
  • 12th and 19th February will be a holiday due to the second and fourth Saturdays falling.
  • February 16 will be a holiday on the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti.

March

  • 1 Tuesday will be a holiday on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
  • 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th will be holidays as it falls on Sundays.
  • On March 18, there will be a holiday on the occasion of Holi.
  • March 12 and 19 will be a holiday due to the second and fourth Saturdays falling.
  • On March 22, there will be a holiday in some states on the occasion of Rang Panchami.

April

  • 3, 10, 17 and 24 April will be a holiday due to it being a Sunday.
  • The second and fourth Saturdays on 9th and 16th will be a holiday.
  • On April 2, there will be a holiday on the occasion of Gudi Padwa and Chaiti Chand.
  • April 14 will be a holiday on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti and Ambedkar Jayanti.
  • April 15 will be a holiday on the occasion of Good Friday.

May

  • May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 will be a holiday due to being a Sunday.
  • May 14 and 21 will be a holiday due to the second and fourth Saturdays falling.
