Banks across the country will remain closed on June 17 on the occasion of Bakrid i.e. Eid-ul-Azha. There will be no functioning of banks in Jammu and Srinagar on June 18 also. Complete list of bank holidays in June 2024

  • Bank holiday on June 9: Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti in the states of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.
  • Bank holiday on June 10: Banks will remain closed in Punjab on the occasion of martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji.
  • Bank holiday on 14th June: Banks will remain closed in Odisha on this day due to Pahili Raja.
  • Bank holiday on June 15: Banks in north-eastern state Mizoram will remain closed on YMA day; And banks in Odisha will remain closed for Raja Sankranti.
  • Bank holiday on June 17: Banks will remain closed across India except a few states on the occasion of Bakrid.
  • Bank holiday on June 21: Banks will remain closed in many states for Vat Savitri Vrat.

Weekend holiday

  • Banks will remain closed on the second Saturday across India on 8th June.
  • Banks will remain closed on the fourth Saturday across India on June 22.
  • Bank holidays on Sundays all over India on these dates: 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 June.

Online banking services will be available

Despite bank holidays, you can transact money or do other work through online banking and ATM. Bank holidays will not have any impact on these facilities. During bank closure, you can do many bank related tasks through mobile or net banking. All online facilities will remain operational during bank closure.
