Banks will remain closed on these dates in July
- On July 3, banks will remain closed in Agartala due to Kharchi Puja Festival.
- On July 5, banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of Guru Hargobind Singh Ji’s birth anniversary.
- On July 14, banks will remain closed in Shillong on the occasion of Beh Dinkhlam. This is a traditional festival of Meghalaya.
- On July 16, banks will remain closed in Dehradun due to Harela festival of Uttarakhand.
- On July 17, banks will remain closed in Shillong on the occasion of U Tirot Singh’s death anniversary.
- On July 19, banks will remain closed in Agartala on the occasion of Ker Puja.
- On July 28, banks will remain closed in Gangtok on the occasion of Drukpa Tse-Ze. This is one of the most auspicious and important occasions for Buddhists around the world.
Apart from this, like every month, the second and fourth Saturdays in July will fall on 12th and 26th July. Whereas 4 Sundays will fall on 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th July. All the banks across the country will remain closed on these 6 days. Thus, the banks will remain closed for a total of 13 days.
